07 / Talk to us

Tell us about the project. A human will reply.

We answer every email and every call. Inside one business day, usually inside an hour. Worst case you get free advice and we tell you we're not the right fit. Best case we build something great together.

Send the brief

The short form, the long answer.

Five fields. Three minutes. You'll hear back inside one business day with a real reply, not an auto‑responder. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so — usually with a few names of people who are.

We never share your details. We answer every one.

What happens next

Four moves. No theatre.

We don't sell with decks. We sell with the same conversation we'd have with another engineer at lunch. Here's the shape.

  1. 01

    A real human reads it.

Usually one of the twins. Sometimes Ashley if it lands while they're in another call. We read it the way we'd read a note from a colleague — not the way an SDR reads a lead.

  2. 02

    A real human replies.

One reply, signed by a name. Either questions about the brief, or a suggested time for a fifteen‑minute call. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and pass on the names of people who are.

  3. 03

    Fifteen minutes on a call.

No deck. Just questions. We listen for what you're actually trying to solve. By the end of the call you'll know if we can help and roughly what it costs.

    Same week
  4. 04

    A scope in writing.

Inside a few days. One document, fixed price where we can, time‑and‑materials where we can't. We tell you which is which and why. You decide whether to start.

Before you ask

The questions we get every week.

Do you take small projects?
Yes, as long as the brief is interesting. Our minimum engagement is around four weeks of work or one monthly retainer. Below that, we'll usually point you to a freelancer we trust.
What does a typical project cost?
Small WordPress rebuilds start around $25k. Custom Laravel platforms range from $80k to several hundred thousand. SEO and marketing retainers run $5k–$25k a month. We'll quote properly on the first call.
Will I work with offshore developers?
The studio is global — about half our engineers are international. But you'll always have a US‑based lead on the project, and your day‑to‑day team will be the same humans throughout. No bait‑and‑switch.
Can you take over an existing site or app?
Yes, that's about a third of our work. We do a paid discovery first (usually a week, fixed price) to audit the codebase, flag risks, and quote a real number. Then you decide whether to continue.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, mutual NDAs before any specifics. We'll send our template, or sign yours within a day. We've been doing this since 2000 — we know the drill.
What if I'm just exploring?
That's fine. Send the brief anyway. We give free advice on fifteen‑minute calls. Even when nothing comes of it. Some of our best clients started that way.
